All verification must be completed through the https://volvoaffinity.com/teachers site, by clicking on the "Get your Volvo PIN" link. This will route a customer to our verification partner ID.me. Verification process typically take less than a minute; however, when verifying through the document upload option, it may take up to 4 minutes.

Customers have the option to verify teacher eligibility using one of these items listed below

• TEACHER RECORDS: Enter your teacher number, state, school district, and school to verify your teacher status.
• DOCUMENT UPLOAD: Upload images of official documents to verify teacher status. The ID.me team reviews document uploads within 60 seconds at a secure U.S.-based facility.
• (There are multiple ways of getting a copy of your paper documentation on to your computer in a digital format; including (but not limited to) using a scanner or your can take a picture with a smartphone or tablet and e-mail it to yourself, etc.)

A.) In order to verify your credentials and to activate the Teacher ID offer or benefit, you can get your license/certification/credential from your state's database OR B.) you can submit one of the documents listed below. All documents submitted must contain your full name and clearly show your occupational title as a teacher (for the current school year).

• State-Issued Teacher Certification
• Teacher ID Card
• Verification Letter signed by a School Administrator

Note: All documents submitted must show your affiliation as a "Teacher" or "Faculty," as opposed to "Staff".

To upload documentation, you can select the radio button labeled "I am not licensed by my stat but I can verify using documentation." From there, you'll fill in the requested information to complete your verification. If the information you entered matches official records, you'll be promoted to upload your documentation.

Once we have processed your verification, you will receive an email to let you know whether your documentation was accepted or rejected, along with guidance if your documentation is rejected.

Currently, it is required that everyone have a valid email address to be verified and to obtain Volvo PIN.

Volvo Cars has chosen this process to ensure the highest level of verification, as well as to reduce fraud. Volvo Cars wants to ensure that only eligible individuals have access to the exclusive offer. At this time customers must be verified using this method.

1. Confirm the eligible teacher individual provided a valid email address. Check email and SPAM folders.
2. Confirm the teacher individual falls within the program criteria. See Program eligibility question above.
3. If the customer is unable to access the Volvo PIN via a newly created email, then contact Volvo Program Headquarters at (877) 702-2234 or email support@aplanbyvolvo.com for assistance.

You may not be able to verify as a teacher if we aren't able to verify your credentials against the state database, if the credentials have expired, or if we weren't able to confirm your status as a classroom teacher based on the document that was submitted. Please email support@aplanbyvolvo.com and they will work with ID.me to validate eligibility for this program.

There are several situations that may cause your verification attempt to be denied prior to uploading a document. Some examples include the following:

• The information you entered did not match.
• The information you entered matches an identity that already exists in our system.
• The document you uploaded already exists in our system and is being flagged as a duplicate.
• The document credit/identity profile has been frozen either voluntarily or as a result of your identity being compromised.
• The information you entered was entered incorrectly.
• You have moved within the last year.
• There is erroneous information in your credit file.
