Q: Is complimentary home delivery really free?
A: Yes.
Q: Will you deliver to places other than my home?
A: Yes. We can deliver to non-residential locations.
Q: Is there additional paperwork involved for home delivery?
A: No additional paperwork is required to take advantage of our free home delivery option.
Q: How far away do offer your home delivery service?
A: Goodwin's Volvo offers free home delivery to most locations up to 100 miles,  one way.
Q: I live over 100 miles away, can I still have my vehicle delivered?
A: Yes, but we are not able to accommodate longer distances without using a transportation company at the buyer's expense which we are happy to help facilitate. 
Q: Will the vehicle be delivered with a full tank of gas?
A: All vehicles will leave our premises with a full tank of gas. For home delivery, that gas will be used to cover the distance of the delivery. 
Q: Can you do same-day home deliveries or is there generally a waiting period?
A: In most cases, no. All deliveries must be scheduled in advance.
Q: Is free home delivery available for both new and pre-owned vehicles?
A: Yes! While we offer free home delivery for new vehicles without requiring an in-person viewing, pre-owned vehicle deliveries do require a previous in-person viewing of the unit at Goodwin's Volvo.
Q: Is free home delivery available for all pre-owned inventory or only for Volvo models?
A: Free home delivery is available for all of our pre-owned offerings, regardless of vehicle make or nameplate.
Q: Are there times when you wouldn't deliver the vehicle for free?
A: Free home delivery services are available most weeks Monday - Friday. At this time we are unable to offer home delivery on Saturdays or at the end of the month.
Q: Can you deliver locally across state lines?
A: Yes, provided the transaction allows it. This can be affected by vehicle registration, etc, and is best sorted out through a discussion with a member of our sales team.
Q: What do I do if I'd like home delivery but I have a trade?
A: As each trade is unique we handle off-site trades on a case-by-case basis. We can only give values pending an inspection.

Q: What if I would like to take advantage of home delivery but I have a lease I need to return?
A: In most cases, we can accommodate picking up your lease return when we deliver your new vehicle. The lease being returned will need to originally be financed through Volvo Car Financial and does not have to be a Volvo vehicle nor does the lease have to have originated with Goodwin's Volvo. Q: What precautions are being taken by the team delivering the vehicle in light of COVID-19?
A: The delivery team will be wearing masks, the vehicle will be disinfected prior to departure and any remaining paperwork will be signed with a sterilized pen. We can also arrange for a contactless drop off as long as the receiving party is present upon arrival.
Q: What's the difference between home delivery and having the vehicle shipped?
A: Home delivery is a service our team offers at no cost within 100 miles. Shipping is an option for delivering a vehicle beyond 100 miles through a vehicle transport company at the owner's expense.
Q: I live outside New England, can you ship a vehicle to me?
A: Shipping can be arranged at the buyer's expense. Due to liability reasons, we cannot book transportation directly, we can only recommend certain carriers. Certain states pose fundamental challenges for shipping (New York in particular) making a definitive policy difficult. Cash transactions can be applied anywhere with a temp tag (except Mass). Finance and lease transactions are cumbersome due to lender requirements. Currently, we have title companies that can perform these tasks at the buyer's expense.
Q: Do you offer any pick-up and delivery service for when my vehicle needs maintenance?
